LS2-150HLP is designed to lift a person in a safety harness or boatswain's chair. They carry the pertinent European Community (EC) type examinations or Declarations of Incorporation.

These winches have gone through rigorous third party design reviews and type examinations, if required, by DNV (Det Norske Veritas).
