Eclipse Standard Valve Train Segments are offered in the NFPA series with UL, CSA and FM approved components or in the EN 746-2 series utilizing CE marked components.

All Standard Valve Train Segments are available in nominal pipe sizes from 1/2” (25 mm) through 8” (200 mm). Threaded and flanged models are available depending on the pipe size specified.

Eclipse valve trains are rated for 110-120V / 50-60 Hz operation and are designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 86 - 2003 or Industrial Risk Insurers (IRI) IM.4.2.0. The IRI version includes either a vent valve or a valve proving system.

Standard components of all valve train sizes include safety shut-off valves, manual shut-off valves, high & low pressure switches, visual position indicators and pressure taps for valve seat leak testing and in-line strainers. Optional components consist of regulators, valve leak test systems, upstream and downstream gauges (2 - 1/2" face diameter) and pilot gas trains (1/2" or 3/8").

The Eclipse Inc. 200 LockTite valves are manually opening valves that automatically shut off the gas supply to a combustion system when any interlocking limit switch opens. The valve handle cannot be reset until the condition causing the open switch is corrected and all limit switches are closed. Typical limit switches include air pressure, gas pressure, temperature limit, and flame monitoring contacts.

In the event of a power failure, the valve immediately closes. Series 200 LT valves include two visual indicators of "open" or "closed" position: a red "flag" visible in the plastic dome on top of the valve; and the reset handle position as indicated by cast markings on the operator case. These valves also include two SPDT micro-switches that can be used for auxiliary circuits. Two contacts are made when the valve opens, and two are made when the valve is closed.

The ES-Series ratio regulators are used in applications where gas to air proportional flow is required. The gas flow is controlled as a function of the air pressure through a loading line which connects into the top of the regulator.

As the system air pressure increases, it forces the ratio regulator valve to open causing the outlet pressure to increase until the two pressures balance. As the load line pressure increases, the ratio of the outlet pressure to the load line pressure will be slightly less than 1:1.

The ratio regulators have a bias adjustment for varying the gas flow when setting the burner at low fire. It can be used to increase or decrease the gas flow resulting in gas rich or lean combustion. The adjustment is restricted in the gas rich direction, therefore, limiting the gas flow at zero air pressure.
