are members of the American Iron and Steel Institute and the Steel Plate Fabricators Association. These firms maintain extensive facilities where metallurgical, welding and pipe lining and coating developments are researched. In addition, representatives of these firms serve on committees engaged in the preparation of national standards, codes and specifications.
